Italians in Tehran Celebrate National Day
Recently, over 500 guests celebrated Italy’s National Day in Tehran with Ambassador Paula Amadei leading the event. The celebration, titled Creativity and Made in Italy, brought together members of the Italian community, Iranian officials, media personnel, and more. Ambassador Amadei highlighted the values of the Italian Constitution, emphasizing freedom and equality for all.
Italy, as part of the EU, NATO, and as rotating president of the G7, promotes multilateralism for peace. The event showcased Italy’s excellence through video clips and an exhibition of contemporary Italian design objects. Festa della Repubblica, Italy’s National Day, commemorates the 1946 referendum that decided the country’s form of government post-World War II.
The celebration in Tehran reflected the warm relations between Italy and Iran, encouraging dialogue on various topics. The event highlighted Italy’s cultural richness and creativity, reinforcing the strong bond between the two nations.
