A recent Israeli strike near Aleppo in Syria resulted in the death of at least 12 pro-regime fighters, including Syrians and foreigners, as reported by an NGO. The strike targeted a factory in the town of Hayyan, causing strong explosions and significant damage.

The Syrian Ministry of Defense confirmed the attack, attributing it to the Israeli enemy and stating that it led to casualties and material destruction. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights mentioned that the area is controlled by pro-Iranian groups.

Israel has conducted numerous strikes in Syria since the start of the civil war, particularly targeting Iranian-backed fighters and army positions. The ongoing conflict has claimed over half a million lives and displaced millions since its inception in 2011.
