Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Hails Islamic Resistance in Lebanon as Anchor of Peace in West Asia
During a press conference in Beirut, Iran’s Acting Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri Kani praised the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon as the “anchor of peace and stability” in the region. He emphasized the vital relationship between Iran and Lebanon in maintaining stability and development. Both ministers discussed the need for a collective approach among Muslim countries to counter the aggression of Israel, particularly in the recent conflict in Rafah, Gaza.
The recent genocidal war waged by Israel in Gaza has resulted in countless Palestinian casualties, prompting international outrage. Bagheri Kani expressed gratitude for Lebanon’s support and solidarity following the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of Iranian leaders.
Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Abdallah Bou Habib reiterated the importance of ending Israel’s crimes in Gaza to ensure regional peace. Tehran and Beirut stand united against the threats posed by the ongoing conflict, underscoring the urgent need for a joint and serious response from the international community.
