Exciting news from Lahore! Punjab Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, has given the green light to the Lahore Development Project, following a special meeting in Lahore. With a focus on the development of six zones in the city, this ambitious project is set to cost over 74 billion rupees.
Under the Chief Minister’s guidance, a Project Management Unit has been established to oversee the implementation of the project within a timeframe of ten months. This initiative aims to transform Lahore into a modern and thriving metropolis.
In addition, Maryam Nawaz recently inaugurated the Nawaz Sharif Information Technology (IT) City project, emphasizing the importance of empowering Pakistan’s youth financially. The IT City project, spread across 853 acres, offers tax benefits for the next decade and includes the development of a Knowledge City and Film City. The government is actively encouraging investments from major IT companies, with plans to attract universities to set up campuses in the Knowledge City.
