PM Arnous Unveils Major Projects in Deir-ez-Zor

Welcome to the Launch of Key Development Projects in Deir-ez-Zor with Prime Minister Arnous

Prime Minister Engineer Hussein Arnous took the lead of a governmental delegation to the Deir-ez-Zor province on Saturday, marking the inauguration of vital service, development, and tourism projects.

One of the main highlights was the unveiling of an irrigation project in Deir-ez-Zor, which underwent rehabilitation at a cost exceeding 20 billion Syrian pounds. This project will effectively irrigate 1,320 hectares of agricultural land in the western countryside of Al-Bukamal.

During the visit, Prime Minister Arnous also inspected the ongoing rehabilitation of water drainage wells in the third sector of government irrigation. Additionally, he inaugurated the Baath Bridge, restored at a cost of over 7 billion Syrian pounds, and the Badia al-Shamer Hotel, developed at approximately 19 billion Syrian pounds.

Engaging in discussions with local leaders and government officials, Prime Minister Arnous emphasized the importance of service, development, and agricultural sectors in the region.

The delegation, which accompanied Prime Minister Arnous, included Ministers from various key departments such as Water Resources, Tourism, Agriculture and Agrarian Reform, and Petroleum and Mineral Resources.
