The uMkhonto weSizwe Party is poised to lead the KwaZulu-Natal government post the 2024 elections.

In a pre-election interview, Zuma hinted at an underground campaign and promised surprising results, delivering on that pledge as the MK Party triumphed over the ANC in the province with 891,461 votes (44.44%) compared to the ANC’s 370,738 votes.
