Trump’s campaign raised a record-breaking M in 24 hours post-verdict announcement.

Former president and US presidential candidate Donald Trump has made headlines with a “record” fundraising effort following his conviction in the first-ever trial of a former or sitting president, as reported by Fox News.

After being found guilty on all 34 counts in his criminal trial in New York, Trump’s campaign announced that it had raised $34.8 million between 6 p.m. ET and midnight Thursday. The fundraising efforts continued, with the campaign reporting a new figure of nearly $53 million raised in the 24 hours after the verdict through its digital platform.

The campaign highlighted that the fundraising success “nearly doubled the largest day ever recorded for the Trump campaign on the WinRed platform” and emphasized that the convictions had reignited the MAGA movement. Additionally, they noted that 29.7% of Thursday’s donors were new contributors to the WinRed platform.

This historic fundraising effort comes after a jury in New York found Trump liable for tampering with Trump Organization financial records while making payments to Stormy Daniels, making him the first former US president to be convicted of a crime by a jury.
