South Africa’s ruling ANC faces potential loss of parliamentary majority after election
South Africa’s African National Congress (ANC) is on the verge of losing its majority in the parliament for the first time following a significant drop in support during the elections. With over 97% of votes counted, the ANC has only managed to secure slightly above 40%, a drastic decline from its previous dominance with 70% of votes.
