Pro-Palestine protests persist in Islamabad

In Islamabad, pro-Palestinian campaigners have organized sit-ins in the city’s major square to draw attention to the crisis in Gaza. Chanting slogans against the US and Israel, they are calling for an end to the invasion of Rafah and a ceasefire in the region.

Mushtaq Ahmed Khan, a former Pakistani senator leading the campaign, criticizes Muslim rulers for their weak response to the Palestine issue, which he believes has emboldened the Zionist regime to commit more crimes in Rafah. He is adamant that the sit-ins will continue until the Pakistani government takes serious action to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and Rafah.

Khan is urging other citizens of Islamabad to join the campaign and increase pressure on the authorities to meet their demands. The photos from the sit-ins show the determination and solidarity of the protesters as they strive to make their voices heard.
