The Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, is set to embark on an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands next week. This visit, scheduled for June 3 and 4, will include meetings with top officials of the Netherlands.
Bećirović’s agenda includes a reception by His Majesty King Willem-Alexander at the royal residence in The Hague, discussions with Prime Minister Marko Rutte, and meetings with the President of the Senate and the President of the House of Representatives of the Dutch Parliament.
The focus of Bećirović’s visit will be on enhancing bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Netherlands, with a special emphasis on economic cooperation. The discussions will also touch upon Bosnia and Herzegovina’s path towards European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
This visit comes on the heels of Bećirović’s participation in the UN General Assembly session in New York, where a resolution on the International Day of Remembrance and Commemoration of the Genocide in Srebrenica was adopted on May 23.
