Zelensky lands in Sweden for Nordic-Ukrainian summit

President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Stockholm on May 31 for the third Nordic-Ukrainian summit. He aims to secure more air defense systems, joint defense projects, and weapons for Ukraine.

During his international travels, Zelensky also visited Spain, Belgium, and Portugal, finalizing new security agreements. In Stockholm, he will meet with various Nordic leaders to sign three security agreements for long-term defense assistance.

The previous Nordic-Ukrainian summit occurred in May and December 2023, showcasing the ongoing support from Northern European countries. Belgium recently pledged $1 billion in aid to Ukraine, cementing a bilateral security agreement.
