US: Russia employing N. Korea missiles in Ukraine

Russia Using North Korean Ballistic Missiles in Ukraine

A recent Pentagon report has confirmed that Russia is utilizing North Korean ballistic missiles in its war against Ukraine. The Defense Intelligence Agency conducted analysis on debris found in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, concluding that it came from a short-range ballistic missile produced in North Korea. This evidence supports longstanding allegations of Pyongyang sending weapons to Moscow.

Despite denials from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un’s sister, Kim Yo Jong, experts believe that the recent testing of rockets and missiles by North Korea may be indicative of weapons intended for use in the Ukrainian conflict.

Russia’s veto in the UN Security Council to halt monitoring of violations has been acknowledged by North Korea, further solidifying the cooperation between the two countries. With ties between Pyongyang and Moscow strengthening, the situation in Ukraine remains complex.

While South Korea has refrained from commenting on the report, the international community continues to monitor the situation closely.
