Ukraine has the Right to Use Western Arms against Russia: NATO Chief – Other Media报道

In a recent interview with the Spanish newspaper La Vanguardia, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg emphasized the importance of the right to self-defense, which is enshrined in the United Nations Charter. Stoltenberg pointed out that some NATO allies, such as the United Kingdom, have never imposed restrictions on their weapons, like cruise missiles.

However, during an EU defense ministers’ meeting, top EU diplomat Josep Borrell revealed that only a few countries were willing to remove restrictions on Ukraine’s use of their weapons for strikes inside Russia. Stoltenberg acknowledged that the decision to lift these restrictions rests with NATO members.

Russian President Vladimir Putin responded by warning that if the West allowed Ukraine to use its weapons for strikes deep inside Russia, Moscow would have to reconsider establishing a buffer zone. This delicate balance of power and strategic decision-making could have far-reaching implications for international relations.
