Exciting news out of Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan as the two countries have seen a significant increase in mutual trade turnover. From January through March of this year, the trade turnover between the two nations reached $105 million, representing a 28% increase from the previous year. In fact, in 2021, the trade turnover totaled $563 million, showcasing the growing partnership between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan.

During a recent meeting between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, discussions centered around further cooperation in the gas sector and joint projects in agriculture. The leaders highlighted the importance of strengthening ties between the two countries to promote economic growth and development.
