Former US President Donald Trump has been found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records to conceal an affair with adult film actress Stormy Daniels. This historic verdict marks the first time a US president has been convicted of a crime, with Trump reacting by denouncing the trial as “rigged and shameful.”
Trump defiantly stated that the “real verdict” will come in the upcoming US presidential elections on November 5. The White House Legal Office offered a brief statement, acknowledging the rule of law without further comment.
