Suspect faces charges for killing Amie Gray in Bournemouth

A tragic incident unfolded on a Bournemouth beach last Friday, resulting in the death of Amie Gray after she was stabbed. The culprit, 20-year-old Nasen Saadi from Croydon, has been charged with murder and attempted murder by Dorset Police.

Detectives from the Major Crime Investigation Team led detailed inquiries leading to Saadi’s arrest on Wednesday. He is scheduled to appear at Poole magistrates court on Saturday June 1, 2024.

Det Supt Richard Dixey expressed condolences to the victims’ families and emphasized the importance of allowing the justice system to take its course without interference. The Crown Prosecution Service has authorized the charges, signifying the start of active court proceedings.

In light of this development, the police urge the public to refrain from sharing potentially prejudicial information on social media. The focus now shifts to seeking justice for Amie Gray and the injured woman as the legal process unfolds.
