Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Embark on Official Visit to China
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit China from June 4 to 8, following an invitation from President Xi Jinping, as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Friday. The visit will consist of stops in Xi’an, Shenzhen, and Beijing, where Sharif will engage in high-level meetings and forums.
During his visit, Sharif will meet with President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Qiang, and other key government officials. He will also interact with executives from leading Chinese companies to discuss collaboration in various sectors.
The trip aims to strengthen the Pakistan-China friendship, bolster the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and enhance cooperation in trade, investment, security, energy, technology, and education. It represents a significant milestone in the enduring relationship between the two countries.
