Nasarawa governor reveals N3.6bn road project

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, recently commissioned the 15km Garaku-Gurku-Dari Road in Kokona Local Government Area, costing N3.67 billion. The road aims to improve connectivity and boost economic activities in the region. Governor Sule highlighted the importance of rural roads in facilitating the transportation of agricultural produce and other commodities.

The governor reiterated his commitment to developing more rural roads to enhance infrastructure and economic growth in the state. He announced plans to construct additional roads, such as Angoro-Arusu-Amba-Bassa Road and Jangwa-Ribi-Agwatashi, to further support economic activities and improve connectivity.

Hon. Ogah Ogazi, representing Kokona East Constituency, expressed gratitude to Governor Sule for addressing the longstanding transportation challenges in the area. He praised the governor for his efforts in improving infrastructure and enhancing the well-being of the community.
