Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has praised President Bola Tinubu for his dedication to enhancing Nigeria’s infrastructure, agriculture, and security during his first year in office. In a congratulatory letter to Tinubu, MACBAN’s National President, Alhaji Baba Othman-Ngelzarma, commended his courage and vision.
He highlighted Tinubu’s commitment to developing infrastructure, promoting agricultural growth, and improving security. Othman-Ngelzarma emphasized the importance of Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda in achieving self-sufficiency in food security and creating job opportunities for Nigerian youth.
MACBAN looks forward to the establishment of a Ministry for Livestock to oversee the N15 trillion industry and its value chain. Othman-Ngelzarma also appealed for the standalone existence of the National Commission for Nomadic Education to support the well-being of Nigerian nomads.
Furthermore, he addressed concerns about the profiling and extortion of pastoralists by security agencies and urged Tinubu to fulfill his promises for a better Nigeria. MACBAN pledged continued support for Tinubu’s efforts to strengthen institutional frameworks and enhance innovation and productivity in the country.
