Armenia, Russia deputy PMs discuss integration at EEC Council meeting

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk and the members of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) recently engaged in discussions aimed at improving the tools for regulating various aspects of integration cooperation. Chaired by Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, the meeting held via videoconference focused on enhancing the legal framework of the union and refining mechanisms for cooperation.

Congratulating participants on Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) Day, which commemorates the treaty’s tenth anniversary, the council also agreed on the agenda for the upcoming Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting. The Eurasian Economic Commission, serving as the regulatory body of the EAEU, plays a crucial role in promoting economic integration and cooperation within the region.
