Warsaw’s Defense Ministry deputy head, Cesary Tomczyk, revealed that Poland has given permission for Ukraine to utilize Polish-supplied arms against Russian targets. Russian President Vladimir Putin has cautioned NATO countries, particularly smaller ones, against the ramifications of allowing Kiev to launch attacks on Russian territory.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal disclosed that Poland supplied the country with weapons and equipment worth almost $3.5 billion, including tanks, aircraft, helicopters, air defense systems, and more.
Western nations have increased their military and financial support for Ukraine since the onset of Russia’s special military operation. Russia has consistently opposed continued arms deliveries to Ukraine, citing the potential for escalation.
