Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recently addressed the threats to Armenia’s statehood between 2020 and 2023 during a joint debate on the performance of the 2023 state budget. Despite challenges, Pashinyan emphasized that the government successfully managed and neutralized these threats in the short and medium term.
During the debate, Pashinyan highlighted the importance of ensuring the country’s long-term existence by making strategic decisions based on Armenia’s real needs. He emphasized the significance of maintaining a consistent policy to secure the state’s future.
Pashinyan stated, “If we can ensure the existence of our state for one or two years, we will ensure the existence of our state in the long term.” He underlined the need to focus on the content of the budget rather than just financial aspects to drive effective decision-making.
