Empowering Sustainable Development: Oman Vision 2040 in Action
The Oman Vision 2040 Implementation Follow-up Unit recently convened in Nizwa to discuss the ‘All of Oman’ project, focusing on the development of sustainable cities and governorates. Under the patronage of Sheikh Hilal bin Saeed al Hajri, Governor of Dakhliyah, the three-day meeting aimed to streamline processes, review projects, and engage with the community.
Featuring workshops on continuous improvement methodology, the event highlighted the importance of community participation in achieving future goals. A special session with youth showcased the talents of the governorate’s young individuals, emphasizing their role in shaping the country’s future.
Abdullah bin Nasser al Saidi, supervisor of the Community Participation Programme for Vision 2040, expressed the program’s commitment to engaging with all governorates to foster partnerships and align efforts towards a sustainable future. With a focus on empowering youth and gathering their input, the initiative continues to make strides towards realizing the goals of Oman Vision 2040.
