Attracting American Investments to Jordan: A Ministerial Meeting

The Minister of Investment, Kholoud Saqqaf, recently met with a delegation of executive directors and representatives from leading American companies in Jordan. The visit aims to explore investment opportunities in various sectors such as energy, ICT, education, technology, defense, and training.

Saqqaf emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties between Jordan and the United States, highlighting the impact of the free trade agreement between the two countries in increasing trade volume and encouraging new investments in Jordan.

Recent reforms in Jordan’s political, administrative, and economic frameworks have attracted positive attention, including Moody’s upgrade of Jordan’s credit rating. Saqqaf invited American businessmen to invest in Jordan, showcasing the supportive business environment and various investment opportunities available through the Invest in Jordan platform.

The delegation from the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU) praised Jordan’s stable environment and committed to promoting its investment opportunities to American companies. With Jordan’s strategic location and attractive market conditions, it is poised to become a hub for international investments.
