BUNER: PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan Discusses Potential Alliance with JUI-F
PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan revealed that talks are underway with Maulana Fazlur Rehman-led JUI-F, although no alliance has been confirmed yet. Both parties have assigned negotiating teams to explore the possibility of forming an alliance.
The meeting on May 23 between PTI and JUI-F delegations did not yield concrete results, with Fazlur Rehman stressing the importance of alignment on national issues. Barrister Gohar emphasized the PTI’s commitment to dialogue, highlighting the importance of engaging with decision-makers.
He commended the KP government’s budget, describing it as a significant achievement despite challenges. Barrister Gohar called for a 10-year tax exemption for Malakand Division, including Buner, to alleviate the burden on the region affected by various crises.
Addressing internal dynamics within the PTI, Barrister Gohar clarified that differences of opinion exist but decisions are made in line with the party’s principles. He also emphasized the importance of establishing a cooperative relationship between the Governor and Chief Minister for the province’s progress.
