Meanwhile, CISLAC has expressed deep concern over the power tussle involving reinstated Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II, and the dethroned emir, Aminu Bayero. The organization warned against exploiting the situation to engineer a state of emergency in Kano, urging President Bola Tinubu to resist any destabilizing attempts.
CISLAC stands firm in advocating for democracy and peace in Kano State, emphasizing the importance of respecting the autonomy of the state government in traditional institutions to avoid further conflict.
