Pakistan Army Captain and Soldier Martyred, Five Terrorists Killed in Peshawar Operation
In a brave and heroic operation in Peshawar district’s Hassan Khel area, a Pakistan Army captain and a soldier were martyred while five terrorists were eliminated by security forces. The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that the intelligence-based operation (IBO) was conducted based on information about the presence of terrorists.
During the operation, the troops engaged the terrorists, resulting in the death of five terrorists and injuries to three others. Captain Hussain Jahangir and Havildar Shafiqullah, who displayed exceptional courage, sacrificed their lives for the nation. The area is now undergoing a sanitization operation to root out any remaining terrorists.
Pakistan remains steadfast in its commitment to fight terrorism, as these brave sacrifices by our soldiers only strengthen our resolve. The recent increase in terror activities in KP and Balochistan underscores the ongoing threat, with a significant number of fatalities and injuries reported in the first quarter of 2024.
