Upon arrival, Pashinyan was greeted by officials from law enforcement and local self-government, who briefed him on the current situation.
During the visit, villagers expressed their concerns to Pashinyan, demanding security guarantees and voicing their frustrations. They raised tough questions and stressed the importance of safety in the region, making it clear that negotiations were not an option.
Accompanied by a large security detail, Pashinyan’s interactions with the villagers were closely monitored. Prior to this, the Prime Minister had a closed-door meeting with locals at the Baghanis school, further addressing their grievances and concerns.
