Pakistan’s PM Shehbaz backs enforce ICJ ruling on 80 characters

Pakistan and other countries celebrated the ICJ verdict ordering Israel to cease its military operation in Rafah, with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif applauding the decision and urging the international community to ensure humanitarian aid reaches Gaza. Many countries, including Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkiye, and Saudi Arabia, welcomed the ruling and called on Israel to comply with international law.

Despite President Biden rejecting the ICJ’s warrant against the Israeli prime minister, US media outlets reported that US judge Sarah Cleveland supported the court’s decision. Amnesty International and Oxfam emphasized the importance of implementing the ICJ’s provisional measures to prevent genocide in Palestine.

Overall, the verdict has sparked global support for Palestinian rights and calls for Israel to end its aggressive actions in Gaza. It is a step towards justice for the Palestinian people and a reminder of the importance of upholding international law.
