Montenegro’s Minister of the Interior, Danilo Šaranović, has announced the largest seizure of illegal weapons in eight municipalities in Montenegro in recent decades.
The police conducted raids on the premises of individuals suspected of having connections to organized crime groups, as reported by the RTCG portal.
Searches are ongoing in Bijelo Polje, Plav, Gusinje, Pljevlje, Rozaje, Andrijevica, and Berane. The Crime Fighting Sector officers seized the largest amount of weapons in Plav, according to RTCG.
This significant operation highlights the government’s commitment to tackling organized crime and ensuring the safety and security of Montenegro’s citizens.
