Iran’s Foreign Policy Continues to Strengthen Under New Leadership
During a meeting with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid in Tehran, Iran’s Vice President Mokhber highlighted the importance of Iran’s foreign policy achievements under late President Raisi.
Mokhber emphasized the special relationship with Iraq and the continuation of strategic policies initiated by Raisi towards the Iraqi government and people. He also noted Raisi’s role in strengthening the Axis of Resistance in the region.
Under the leadership of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, Iran will uphold its principled strategy to counter hegemonic policies, Mokhber added.
President Rashid expressed deep sorrow over Raisi’s death and pledged to maintain strong relations with Iran. The partnership between the two countries remains crucial for regional stability.
As Iran mourns the loss of President Raisi, the country will continue to navigate foreign policy challenges with a commitment to maintaining strong relations with neighboring and Islamic countries.
