KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur Demands Clearing of Dues from Federal Government
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur emphasized the importance of clearing KP’s dues in the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) meeting. He stated that the province will not compromise on its rights and vowed to prevent any undue advantage being taken. During the meeting, CM Gandapur opposed the imposition of taxes on FATA and PATA, and discussed the deadline concerning electricity dues.
He made it clear that no additional taxes will burden the people of KP and urged the federal government to release funds to provide relief to the citizens. Highlighting the importance of fair treatment, he mentioned that any delay in releasing the funds will be unjust to the province.
Furthermore, he mentioned upcoming meetings regarding power load shedding and negotiations with PTI founder Imran Khan for the betterment of Pakistan. CM Gandapur also announced that KP is open to welcoming investments through SIFC.
