Dhobley, once plagued by violence and Al Shabaab attacks, has transformed with the help of Kenya Defence Forces (KDF). A tarmac road connecting Dhobley to Afmadhow was built, providing crucial access to healthcare and services. The KDF has supported the struggling Dhobley General Hospital with supplies and medical equipment, ensuring normal operations resume. The Atmis Sector 2 has also improved the hospital and provided medical mentoring programs for local practitioners.

Additionally, KDF has invested in education, building classrooms at Wamo Primary and Secondary School. Women empowerment initiatives and business development have been prioritized, enhancing the skills and financial status of local women. Despite challenges like Al Shabaab threats and refugee camps, progress in Dhobley shows promise for a peaceful and stable future.

Brigadier Rashid aims to degrade Al Shabaab, protect civilians, and empower the Somali security forces, leaving behind a safe and stable Dhobley.
