According to an obscure federal department charged in part with predicting “disruptions” to Canada, in the next few years the country is most likely to be sidelined by a world in which “people cannot tell what is true and what is not.”

The report also identifies “immigrants do not choose Canada” as a scenario so unlikely that it ranks behind “world war breaks out” and “many Canadian regions become uninhabitable.”
