An experienced Kenyan mountaineer tragically passed away while attempting to summit Mount Everest without supplemental oxygen. The Nepali sherpa accompanying him is still missing, according to reports.
The body of Joshua Cheruiyot Kirui was discovered around 20 meters from the summit. Kirui, a banker from Nairobi, and his guide Nawang Sherpa went missing after losing radio contact during their expedition.
