The Israel Defense Forces recovered the bodies of three hostages taken by Hamas terrorists during an attack on Israel on Oct. 7 in Gaza overnight. The hostages were identified as Hanan Yablonka, Orión Hernández Radoux, and Michel Nisenbaum, who were killed near the Mefalsim area. Yablonka, a father of two, was with friends in a car when Hamas attacked. Radoux, a French-Mexican citizen, was taken at a music festival, and Nisenbaum, an Israeli resident, was on his way to pick up his granddaughter.
The Hostages Families Forum Headquarters expressed grief over the recovery, calling for all hostages to be brought back. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and French President Emmanuel Macron also reacted, with Macron offering support to Radoux’s family.
Hamas still holds 125 hostages, with 39 dead, according to the IDF. This tragic situation has lasted for 231 days. The recovery of these bodies is a reminder of the ongoing need for negotiation and action to bring all hostages back home.
