Ukraine and Norway have finalized negotiations on a bilateral security agreement, aimed at bolstering Ukraine’s defense capabilities against Russian aggression. The agreement follows Norway’s announcement of a new military assistance package worth $190 million, focusing on air defense, naval capabilities, radar, anti-drone systems, and boats.

Several other countries including the U.K., Germany, France, and Canada have already signed similar agreements with Ukraine, showing support for the country in its efforts to resist external threats. The upcoming global peace summit for Ukraine, scheduled for June 15-16 in Switzerland, will further address peace initiatives under President Zelensky’s 10-point peace formula.

Norway’s increased defense production and continuous aid to Ukraine demonstrate a strong commitment to standing with Ukraine in its time of need. The international support and security guarantees play a crucial role in enhancing Ukraine’s resilience and ability to maintain peace.
