The Ministry of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Military Attaché of the Federal Republic of Germany in BiH have signed a Technical Agreement for financial assistance of 1.2 million euros for infrastructure projects in the Armed Forces of BiH.
The projects include heating and renovation works in barracks located in Banja Luka, Kiseljak, Doboj, and Sarajevo. Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Muhamed Smajić, expressed gratitude for the partnership between the two countries and the support towards NATO integration.
Colonel Franz Josef Nolte praised the work of the development team and highlighted the strong partnership between Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The total value of donations from Germany amounts to 6.5 million euros, with more agreements expected in the future.
This partnership has led to improvements in living and working conditions, procurement of uniforms, infrastructure enhancements, and educational opportunities for members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, strengthening the bond between the two nations.
