The Congress accused the BJP government of failing to provide permanent employment opportunities in Haryana, promoting temporary jobs instead. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh questioned PM Modi on unemployment, slow private investment, and lack of basic amenities like clean water in Bhiwani. Citing CMIE data, Ramesh highlighted Haryana’s high unemployment rate of 37.4%. He criticized the government for leaving two lakh government posts vacant and shutting down Hisar Doordarshan, worsening the crisis. Ramesh alleged that the BJP’s hollow assurances have let down the youth, noting Haryana’s poor rank in bank-assisted projects. He also raised concerns about law and order affecting investment and the plight of Bhiwani residents facing water scarcity and sewerage issues. Despite protests, the problems persist, leading residents to threaten election boycott. Ramesh urged PM Modi to address these issues and break his silence on the matter.
