Beijing requested the Taliban tighten the leash on TTP to secure Chinese investments in Afghanistan. Concerns also extend to Uygur militants in Afghanistan and Baloch insurgents in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.
Recent discussions between China and Pakistan emphasized security measures to safeguard Chinese personnel and investments. Joint efforts are being made to combat terrorism and ensure the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
