BankDhofar joins Muscat Int’l Forum for Risk Management in Banks & Financial Institutions

Muscat: BankDhofar recently participated in the Muscat International Forum for Risk Management in Banks and Financial Institutions, organized by the Union of Arab Banks in collaboration with the Central Bank of Oman. The forum, focused on topics like Basel III endgame, bank viability, credit risk, digitalization of finance, and Islamic finance, aimed to enhance modern risk management practices among Arab bankers amidst changing geopolitical landscapes.

With around 250 participants from various government entities and regulatory authorities, including the Central Bank of Oman, BankDhofar’s AGM and Deputy Chief Risk Officer, Mr. Ezideen Juma Al Mazroui, highlighted the bank’s alignment with CBO guidelines and the importance of sharing best practices to enhance risk management capabilities.
