Britain is taking steps towards building a new large-scale nuclear power station in north Wales, with the preferred site being on the island of Anglesey. The project would be on par with existing nuclear plants at Hinkley and Sizewell in England. The location’s proximity to Dublin, approximately 120km away, highlights its strategic importance in the region.
