Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan expressed his views on concessions during a recent question-and-answer session at the National Assembly of Armenia. He made it clear that he considers talk of concessions to be unacceptable, especially in the context of defining national borders.

Referring to the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991, Pashinyan reaffirmed that the national borders of Armenia are based on the administrative borders of Soviet Armenia. He explained that extensive discussions and legal examinations were conducted to determine and solidify Armenia’s border, ensuring that not a single millimeter of territory was compromised.
The Prime Minister’s remarks shed light on the meticulous and deliberate approach taken by the Armenian government in delineating the country’s borders. Pashinyan’s unwavering stance on protecting Armenia’s territorial integrity showcases the government’s commitment to upholding legal principles.
