Welcome to the Royal Visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham in Jordan
Jordan, Amman – His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik embarked on a two-day state visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, greeted by King Abdullah II Ibn al Hussein at Marka Airport in Amman. The welcoming ceremony included a royal reception marked by a 21-gun salute and military honors.
With the playing of national anthems and a ceremonial flypast, His Majesty the Sultan and King Abdullah inspected the Guard of Honor after a warm welcome from the people of Jordan, displaying the close ties between the two countries. The day continued with a motorcade to Basman Palace, greeted by cheering crowds and traditional Jordanian customs.
As the evening approached, a state dinner at Al Husseiniya Palace was held in honor of His Majesty Sultan Haitham, symbolizing the unity and friendship shared between Oman and Jordan. The visit showcases the deep-rooted relationship between the two nations and the mutual respect between the leaders and their people.
