Just a week before the polls, the DA’s Solly Msimanga has vowed to rescue “the betrayed” residents of Gauteng if they back him with their votes. Msimanga claimed that throughout this election campaign, it has been nearly impossible to find a resident of the province who is not frustrated about something and desperate for change.
Speaking at the party’s “Rea ba tsena” rally in Soweto, Msimanga highlighted a sense of betrayal among residents of all generations and walks of life. He emphasized the need for change and painted a bleak picture of the current state of affairs under ANC rule in the province.
From lacking resources in the public sector to poor service delivery in municipalities, Msimanga touched on various issues impacting the lives of Gauteng residents. He also addressed concerns around unemployment, education, and obstacles faced by entrepreneurs in the province.
Despite the challenges, Msimanga promised hope and solutions through a DA-led government, focusing on job creation, quality education, combating corruption, and improving service delivery. He urged residents to support him in bringing about much-needed change in Gauteng.
