Armenia and Spain recently conducted political consultations in Madrid, discussing various topics on bilateral cooperation. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Paruyr Hovhannisyan, and Spain’s State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Diego Martínez Belío, exchanged ideas on enhancing relations in economy, high technologies, culture, and more. They also focused on the Armenia-EU partnership and regional peace efforts in the South Caucasus.
Deputy Minister Hovhannisyan presented Armenia’s perspective on border delimitation and regional economic projects, including the “Crossroads of Peace” initiative. The dialogue also touched upon international agenda issues, underscoring the significance of regular consultations between the two Foreign Ministries.
