Nineteen other Palestinians were injured, including a journalist who was shot after Israeli forces opened fire on a group of journalists covering the raid which began in the early hours of Tuesday.

Israeli forces fatally shot seven Palestinians, including a doctor, a teacher, and two youths, during a raid in Jenin, West Bank. The raid also left nineteen other Palestinians injured, including a journalist and a female paramedic.

Dr. Osayd Kamal Jabareen, Head of the Surgery Department at Jenin Governmental Hospital, was among the deceased. A school teacher, Allam Jaradat, and two youths, Mahmoud Amjad Hamdneh and Osama Mohammed, were also killed.

Ongoing Clashes

The raid led to clashes, with the Israeli army besieging Jenin Government Hospital and restricting access for medical staff and ambulances. The military also demolished the home of a resistance fighter, leaving his family homeless.

Condemnation

The Palestinian Government Media Office condemned the Israeli army’s actions, while various Palestinian factions denounced the massacre. The raid also resulted in mass arrests of Palestinians in different parts of the West Bank.
