A solemn funeral ceremony was held in Tabriz for the late President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, and his companions who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter crash. The event was attended by a large number of people from East Azarbaijan province, as well as national and military officials, and government cabinet members.
President Raisi and his entourage were on their way to Tabriz when the helicopter they were traveling in crashed in the forest area of Dizmar. Among the passengers were Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, Hojjatul-Islam Ale-Hashem, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Malek Rahmati, the pilot, co-pilot, crew chief, head of the security team, and a bodyguard, all of whom tragically lost their lives in the accident.
The nation mourns the loss of these respected individuals, and their sacrifice will be remembered. May their souls rest in peace.
