Leaders in Latin America and the United States Express Condolences Over Death of Iranian President in Helicopter Crash
Leaders across Latin America have expressed their condolences over the tragic death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in a helicopter crash. Colombia, Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Cuba all extended their sympathies to the families of Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and other victims of the crash.
Brazilian President Lula da Silva, Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Bolivian President Luis Arce, and Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez all paid tribute to Raisi’s leadership and dedication to his people.
Additionally, the United States has also offered its official condolences for the loss of Raisi and other officials in the crash.
