ICC to issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes

The Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Karim Khan, has announced his intention to issue arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Galant for alleged war crimes in Gaza. Evidence collected includes testimonies, audio and video documents, satellite images, and reports from witnesses, indicating deliberate deprivation of civilians by Israel through a siege on Gaza, restricting essential supplies like food and water, and interrupting electricity supply.

Khan highlighted the use of starvation as a war tactic and other acts of violence against Palestinians, resulting in malnutrition, dehydration, suffering, and deaths among civilians, including children and women. The prosecutor emphasized that Israel’s actions constitute crimes against humanity and war crimes, with severe repercussions on the population in Gaza.
